Kara Stewart is the founder and artistic director of Fusion Dance Company. She has a BA in dance from Cal State University of Long Beach, and is trained in many different styles including jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, musical theater, and contemporary. She has worked as a professional choreographer and dancer since 1990. Some of her credits include various musicals at the Music Theater of Southern California, Walt Disney Productions, and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. She was also featured in Britney Spears's "Crossroads" Las Vegas tour video.

Ashley Kohler was trained in Oceanside, California at Dance Unlimited. She has been trained in jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop. Ashley has a BA in Business from UCSB.

Anna Cardenas received her BA in Communications from UCSB. She has been dancing for over 7 years and joined Fusion in the summer of 2005. She is trained in numerous dance styles, as well as vocal performance, and musical theater. Anna grew up in the Sacramento area where she received most of her training, and aspires to further her dance career with Fusion Dance Company. She loves to be on the stage and greatly appreciates all the support her family has given her to follow her dreams.

Nicole received her BFA in Dance from UCSB in 2006. While attending, Nicole choreographed several works and danced with the UCSB Dance Company where she was a featured soloist in Alice Condodina's reconstruction of Jose Limon's Psalm. Nicole has also danced and choreographed professionally for Indiana Dance Theatre, Daughter of Zion Dance Company and danced with Ballet Santa Barbara. Currently Nicole teaches dance, does free-lance choreography and is the Administrative Director for Santa Barbara Dance Alliance.
